Abstract

In this study, we adopt the Thinking Like a Historian Approach (TLH), which systematizes the historical inquiry process of historians as a learning model. By expanding Linked Open Data (LOD) using a large language model (LLM) based on an ontology that defines TLH concepts, we construct a white-box-oriented learning resource that ensures comprehensiveness, reproducibility, learning controllability, and maintainability. The historical learning support system developed based on this learning resource has adaptive question generation function and historical information visualization function in an open-ended historical inquiry space.
