In this paper, we describe research conducted around a 180 hour programme designed to introduce secondary school students to computational mking through app development. The quantitative data analysis indicated that most of the participating students, whether male or female, seem to have developed a high level of interest and acceptance of computational making activities. The correlational and SEM analysis indicated that although these students, from various schools, have benefited in different dimensions. Design thinking readiness and coding readiness should be highlighted as the prominent factors derived from this Computational Making Programme for students to develop their interest and make recommendations to others
