Abstract

Making annotations is a major technique to investigate the structure and the central ideas of a complex text. In this paper we present an intervention, where undergraduate physics students have been using online annotations to identify and discuss argumentative problems in science texts. Based on the positive results we are planning to apply online annotations to a greater extent.
