Abstract

In recent years, educational research showed an increasing interest in understanding learners’ conceptions of learning in different learning contexts. However, few studies investigated the idea of learning conceptions about web-searching. In addition, most studies focused on understanding students’ conceptions of learning, but few focused on teachers’, especially kindergarten teachers'. Therefore, through a large-scale questionnaire, the aim of this study was to investigate pre-service and in-service kindergarten teachers’ learning conceptions of web-searching and the differences between these two samples.
