The Correlation Between the Students’ Attitude Towards ICT with the Students’ Achievement in Learning English

Abstract

This paper is a research report concerning Computer -Assisted Language Learning (CALL), used as medium of teaching English; in term s of looking for significant correlation between the Students’ attit ude towards ICT with the students’ learning achievements in English. This is a kind of experimental research; where the data processing was performed by using descriptive stati stics that aimed to know; the mean, the median, the range, the standard deviation, the variance, the minimum and the maximum score, and the presentation of the data for ms to show the frequency of distribution and in a histogram. Based on the calcu lation of the correlation score, the research variables have positive correlation and it can be said that there is quite strong and significant correlation with the significance level of 5% (Sig. < 0.05). It means that all the three hypotheses stated or presented in this study could be accepted.
