Abstract

In the realm of CSCL research, collaborative argumentation is regarded as a key type of knowledge construction process that should be mastered by students to enable knowledge advancement. We designed an automated assessment system to support students' collaborative argumentation in Science learning. This paper describes the conceptual framework, the pedagogical and technological design of the system.
