Abstract

With the benefits of online learning environment, digital media related to personalized information of individual students have been rapidly developed. For learning Structured Query Language (SQL) in a database management system, although, there were various online learning systems, which were developed based only on single-source of personalization information, such as learning style, cognitive style or learning achievement- In this study, an innovative approach has been proposed by upon two main sources of personalization information that is, learning styles and digital media preference. This paper, a pilot study was conducted to explore the relation between learning styles and preferred digital media for arranging the sequence of digital media to each student learning on SQL topic.
