Abstract

This paper documents the development and user testing of a Virtual Reality Educational Escape Room game where players learn about the Martial Law period in Philippine history. We describe the game’s escape-room design and how its development was facilitated using the Ateneo Virtual Reality Escape (AVRE) framework. We also present the results of a user test of the said game, comparing these results with a previous AVRE-developed game, and focusing on possible improvements on user experience and potential educational value.
