Abstract

This study examines the dynamic mechanic in the diffusion process of ICT in education. In this paper, the author analyzes the features of three participants (Innovators, Change Agents and Adopters) in the diffusion process of ICT in Education. The Innovators can also be divided into three types: Primary Innovators without market willingness, Flexible Innovators for special demand, and Integrated Innovators towards the marketplace. Early adopters have strong effect with other's potential adopters. Although there are many literates on adoption mode, little research is based on motivation analysis. In this paper, the author tries to bring forward a Dynamic Diffusion Model of ICT in education in order to explain the internal dynamic rules among these behavior subjects. In the end, we also discuss how to promote the internal forces in the diffusion process.
