Abstract

Problem-posing is known that effective method for promoting to master the use of solution methods. However, these methods have been rarely used because of the activity for posing problem and assessment the posed problem. So, we design and develop an interactive environment for learning by problem-posing continually. In previous research, we have already designed and developed the learning environment targeting one-step addition or subtraction word problems and one-step multiplication word problems. In this paper, we have designed and developed the learning environment targeting one-step multiplication or division word problem and its assignment newly. For realizing this system, the property of quantity and its relation is suggested as problem structure. And the diagnosis and feedback of posed problem are defined based on the property and relation. The level of assignment is defined too. Developed learning environment and its practical use in an elementary school are reported.
